Kuumba Nia Arts are seeking to raise funds to send our play Finding Beulah on tour across Britain in 2019. After a couple of showcased performances Finding Beulah has received many favourable reviews and we feel that it is time for the play to be seen by a wider audience.
Finding Beulah is a love story that follows a Black couple across different life incarnations in a bid to rediscover their lost love when in Ghana in the 17th century he became a slave. Their journey culminates 10 years in the future with Africa now free from international debt invites its sons and daughters in the west to come back home. She recognises that this is their last chance to rekindle their lost love. he is not so sure.
