Find Vinnie

We are raising money to support the Jansen family's efforts to find our missing heart and soul, the little boy Vincent Jansen (Vinnie). Vinnie and his mother, Dawn Dumont Walker, were reported missing on Sunday, July 24, near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Help us bring him home safe.

Our mission is to complement and enhance search efforts for Vincent. The funds from this campaign will be used exclusively for the search for Vinnie with the following:

1. Establishing a $10,000 reward for information leading to finding Vinnie and his safe return home. The reward may increase depending on the amount of funds raised.

2. Outreach and advertising to aid existing and new search efforts for Vinnie.

3. Private investigation services to help locate Vinnie in conjunction with the public investigation.

4. If Vinnie is found before all funds are used, the balance will be donated to support efforts to find other missing children and support other families of missing children.

Vinnie is 4’2” with brown hair and hazel eyes, but he is so much more. He is a son, a big brother, a grandson, a nephew, and a cousin. He is the kindest, sweetest, most gentle child you have ever met. He likes watching Captain Underpants and playing games on his iPad. He is a video game wiz, beating his grandma at every game since he was five. He likes watching the movie Extinct and building Flummels out of Lego. He laughs and smiles easily, especially if you say “I’m hungry for a Vincent'' while making "nom nom" noises in his ear. We all love and miss him so so much; words cannot describe how worried we are.

Shortly after Vincent and Dawn were reported missing, Dawn’s vehicle was found at Chief Whitecap Park, just south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The police are conducting a thorough investigation, including a search of the South Saskatchewan River. The police haven’t found anything recently, and as more time passes, we think we should broaden the search to a wider area. Vinnie could be anywhere and may have even crossed a border.
