Financial Support for Lori James

On Thursday March 8th, 2018 Lori Tyson James fell deathly Ill.  Lori contracted a flesh eating bacteria and she wasn’t expected to survived.  It is only by the grace of God that she is still with us today although she is not out of the woods yet. She has survived multiple surgeries removing the infected flesh, cleaning the massive wounds, and cauterizing bleeds. Lori still has a very long recovery ahead of her and is now at Augusta Burn Center in August, GA.  She went through the first of many surgeries in Augusta on Wednesday debreeding the open wounds. Her vitals are holding at this point however she is on continuous dialysis to get her kidneys functioning properly again and is still extremely critical. At the moment the doctors need her wounds to begin healing  so that they can begin the next stage of covering the massive wounds.  

As as you can imagine this sudden illness is and will continue to be a financial burden to Lori and her family. She will likely be at Augusta Burn Center rehabilitating for at least a year.  She does have health insurance but there will be out of pocket medical expenses as well as travel expenses for the family, loss of income, etc.  We would love to raise enough money to relieve some of this financial burden for Lori and her family.

Lori is a fighter and God is on her side!  She is a miracle and God has shown us all that He isn’t done with Lori yet here on this earth!
