Financial Support for Kristen Allen and 4 girls
On August 2nd, James Allen was admitted to the hospital due to shortness of breath and low oxygen saturation. On August 12th, he was transferred to the ICU and 2 days later was intubated. The following day, his labs become more unstable and he was recommended tertiary care and ECMO. At the same time, his kidneys began to fail and he was prepped to start dialysis. Around midnight at the beginning of August 18th, Kristen was told they could not do anymore dialysis. James’ body was not handling this as his blood pressure continues to drop. Throughout the entire day of August 18th, Kristen was on contact with the doctors and his condition worsened. As the day progressed, the doctors explained the dire situation situation and recommended he be taken of life support. They explained they had done all they could and even with the ventilator his blood was not getting enough oxygen to keep his organs alive. Kristen then shared with her 4 girls and they made the extremely difficult decision to take him off of life support. James passed within minutes and is now in the arms of Jesus.
The James that Kristen, Veronica, and the girls saw in the hospital was NOT the man they knew and loved.
James had his dream job of being a producer in sport radio for the Angels. Working alongside Roger Lodge on Am830 The Sports Logde. James would often take his girls to Angels games to enjoy family time. James was a hard- working man who worked 2 jobs to support his family. Often times, he would go without any sleep to work and provide for his girls. James was obsessed with the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He loved all things Chicago. He is known to many as ChicagoGod. In addition, he always made time to attend his men’s Bible group rooted in Gods truth. He was THE man that did it all and made an incredible life possible for his 4 girls; Brooklyn-3, Laiyah-12, Jaylah and Jahzaiyah-15.
Kristen is now faced with the tremendous financial obstacle of taking care of herself, 4 daughters and mother in law Veronica Allen. His girls are tremendous soccer players and travel all over playing. They are also bright, gentle, kind-hearted girls who will make anyone smile. With this, we are asking for any donation to help Kristen raise enough money to help support she and the girls for months. James was the financial provider for the family and Kristen needs lots of help as she enters this new season of life.
