Dear BP Family and friends,

It is with tremendous regret that I am announcing the passing of Border Patrol Agent Juan R. Gonzalez on July 24, 2017. His sudden passing has caught all by surprise and placed a great financial burden on the Gonzalez Family.

BPA Juan R. Gonzalez, beloved husband, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and proud Border Patrol Agent, passed Monday afternoon on July 24, 2017 at the age of 46.

He entered on duty with the United States Border Patrol on May 5, 2002, BP Class # 509 and was assigned to the Fort Brown Border Patrol Station in Brownsville, Texas. He enjoyed his life to the fullest with the love of his life, Maria Gonzalez and his four children.
