Financial Support for Heath &Family

My name is Courtney Upchurch and I am the oldest daughter of Heath and Tricia Griffitts. They also have a daughter, Hannah Griffitts 18 and a son, Austin Griffitts 14. My daddy, Heath, was diagnosed with severe Ulcerative Colitis about 10 years ago at the age of 35. At first we were able to control his UC with medication but in time his condition got worse and all medication quit working completely. About 3 months ago he had a colonoscopy which showed low-grade displeashia. Doctors said within 1-5 years he would have full blown colon cancer. Which brings us to where we are now. Today December 27, 2017 Daddy had to have his entire colon removed because it was 100% covered in bleeding ulcers. 200+ ulcers. They then made a J-Pouch out of his intestines which will act as a colon. Though this surgery completely cures him of UC it comes with very severe pain and a very long road of recovery. Average recovery time is 5-7 months. Daddy works for himself and has never been able to afford insurance. Now that he's had this surgery there is no way for him to bring in money to provide for his family. Not to mention the thousands of dollars we now owe in hospital bills. I don't mean to sound biased and you can ask anyone that knows daddy but he is the most hard working, family man, most deserving man on this planet. He never asks for anything from anyone. He loves his family more then anything in this world and always puts his family first! I guess what I'm asking is for any help we can possibly get. Any donations big or small will mean the world to us and would be very much appreciated. Financially it's going to be really tough for a while with bills and everyday life needs and groceries. My sister Hannah is a freshman in college in Virginia. I'm going to be responsible for her having money to eat and get through life with until daddy is better. Right now I have no clue how I'm going to make this happen. If you can not donate I completely understand! The best gift we could receive right now is prayers!! Lots of prayers!
