Financial Support for former Generous Space Staff

Many of you have expressed a desire to support the former Generous Space Staff who resigned or were terminated, and find themselves suddenly without income during a global pandemic. This fundraiser is to support Michiko, Becca, Beth, Jamie, Holli and Nadia with living costs as they navigate this difficult time, and transition to find new sustainable income.
A note from the former Staff:
'Thank you so much for your support and this very generous/ encouraging response. We have talked about it as a group and we are humbled by this offer from our community and would like to gratefully accept this tangible support. We would like to split the funds equitably between the group of us- discerning that according to the different needs each of our families have. We also plan to give a portion of any funds raised to support an organization or fund that provides therapy/resources for queer BIPOC. We have not identified exactly which organization(s) that will be yet but we would like to support a resource that former GS folks might be able to access. You are welcome to share this plan with the campaign so people are aware of how we will be using the money. '
