Financial Relief for Robert Giles

A little over a year ago, our dad (Robert) fell and broke his left femur. During that time our mom (Tina) had just gone through a lumpectomy and was about to undergo radiation treatments for breast cancer. The recovery from Dad's accident took close to eight months. He was out of work and needed to be taken care of during his recovery. While he was recovering from his injury he was diagnosed with C.L.L. Even during this hard time in their lives they remained strong and continued to Put others first. Two weeks ago Robert was cleared to go back to work and they were going to be moving foward with their lives, work and being active grandparents. Normal family life.

Friday August 25, brought normal family life hopes to a hault, as Robert fell and shattered his other femur. A simple accident which came as a devastating blow leaving them without income and no workmans comp to cover these new hospital bills. They are starting the recovery journey all over again. Normal family life being another year or so away.
During Dad's last recovery, there was a weekly check from his workmanscompemsation. This time there will be nothing. Mom cleans houses for a living. But while Dad is recovering Mom will miss out on weeks of work. We are looking to bless our parents by lightening the financial burdens that are coming their way.
