Financial Relief for El Segundo/The Spreads Staff

Dear Family and Friends of the Spreads and El Segundo,
We hope that you are all healthy and finding ways to stay positive during these times of uncertainty.
Like our industry brothers and sisters, we have been forced to temporarily close our doors during this COVID-19 crisis. As you can imagine, this decision has had an enormous ripple effect. Our mission has always been to provide our customers with quality food and service in a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Without our incredible staff, we would not be able to carry out that mission. Closing our doors means that our loyal staff is no longer able to show up each day to not only serve all of you but to also provide for themselves and for their families.
We are creating a relief fund to help fill in some of the gaps for our staff who have been affected by the layoffs. We want to ensure that our staff has the supplies that they need and to instill hope during this tumultuous time.
As a Nation and as an industry, we are in unchartered waters. It’s been said that as things fall apart, community falls together. We are asking you, our community, to come together in supporting our staff by donating to this relief fund. All funds will go directly to our staff in need.
We are committed to enduring this storm and remain hopeful that we will emerge stronger on the other side.
