Financial Help for Tony Holland

Many of you may recognize Tony Holland as the friendly, goofy guy who often had your breakfast order memorized and made by the time you got to the counter at Byron's Smokehouse. He has been with us at Byron's for fifteen years and over those years he has become family to us and our regular customers. He has never missed a day of work and was always there when we needed him, late nights and early mornings. Over the last two years Tony has suffered two strokes. The last one significantly disabled him and he is no longer able to work. Along with his physical condition, he has experienced a few personal set backs as well. We are trying to help Tony get back on his feet and we have been approached by several of our customers who have also expressed interest in helping Tony financially, so we decided to set up a bank account for him to take donations. We have an appointment to set up Tony's disability and social security, but we have been told that it could be 6-8 months before he would start receiving any funds. Any donations received would go towards his utility bills, rent, living conditions and groceries during that time frame.
