Surprise!
Beginning on December 20th, when I unexpectedly took a trip to the hospital, my family & I started our new adventure . Here we learned that for the last four years or so, cancer has been growing in my brain, and now, it is time to fight back!
Thank you Crestwood Middle School, James Blair Middle, my loving churches, the beautiful people of Hampton Roads & Fredericksburg, friends from long ago, and family from all over the United States. You have embraced me with your love. Working with the phenomenal doctors at Duke Medical Center and my incredible Chesapeake Doctors, we begin chemotherapy and radiation January the 16th and will continue for six weeks. . As my challenges continue, I look forward to your help for myself and my family (including my parents in Fredericksburg). I am already overwhelmed by your love.
You have never shown so much of the kindness of God from every avenue in my life.
