Final Push for Stoughton's Collins Field Project!

Stoughton Sports Boosters is matching your donations once again up to $20,000. With your help, we can raise $40,000 to help make a final push on the Collins Field renovations.

 

The Collin's Field Project is targeted to begin before the end of the school year to prepare for a fall opening. The focal points of this project are to install turf, ADA seating on the home side bleachers, an ADA entryway highlighting our major donors, and building a new press box.

 

Phase 1 of the Collin's Field Project replaces the grass field with artificial turf. Phase 2 focuses on updates to the entryway, ADA seating and building a new press box. We had many generous contributors to Phase 1, including The Stoughton Sports Boosters, Stoughton Trailers, community businesses and generous Stoughton residents. The district received a generous donation from the Anderson Family that kicked off Phase 2.

 

The Stoughton Area School District is very grateful for all the contributors to this community project. As they approach the deadline to submit the final plans, we hope the community can come together to help donate towards this project one last time. Currently, we need to raise about $200,000 in additional funds to proceed with completing both Phase 1 and 2. Completing the first 2 phases would provide an opportunity to expand to Phase 3 with sanitary water and appropriate plumbing on the home side.  It is best to lay the plumbing for phase 3 during this initial project. We must strongly consider removing this amenity if the appropriate funds are not donated. Please help our school district finish out this wonderful project and make this facility truly one of a kind.
