Final expenses for my firstborn son, David
Donation protected
Early this morning, I was surprised to see a call from my youngest son. He doesn't call me often. But the news was heartbreaking. My firstborn son, David, was killed in a car crash this morning. A woman was speeding and ran a stop sign and broad-sided him, spinning his truck around and causing it to roll. The detective told me they think alcohol or drugs was involved. David was partially thrown from the truck and despite attempts to save him, he was pronounced dead soon after getting to the hospital. I have no way to pay for even a simple cremation. It's not something I ever really even thought about. Kids are supposed to outlive their parents!!
It will be a few days (at least) before the medical examiner will release him (depending on how heavy their work load is).
He was just starting to pull his life together too. He was supposed to start a new job next week that he was very excited about and had met a lady that he cared for very much.
Anything you can do will be most appreciated. This year has been tough on everybody so I understand if you can't give or can't give much.
He would have been 37 on January 11th.
