Stand by Maria Who Stood by her Mom

Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I come to you requesting help for Maria DeLaFuente (Newby), formerly with the Trumpet Awards for 25+ years. Maria's mother, Justina, lost her hard fought battle with cancer on Sunday, January 7, 2018.
Justina was diagnosed with a very rare type of ovarian cancer 2 years ago and was given a mere 3 months to live at that time. Maria did not have it in her heart to put her mom in a nursing facility, so she welcomed her home and provided her with 24 hour, tender loving care since January 2016. Yes, care that extended her precious life 8 times longer than what the doctors thought was possible!
Justina had no life insurance and no savings account; but this did not stop Maria from using all that she possessed to care for her. Maria charged up her credit cards and took out loans to do what she knew she had to do for the peron who sacrificed her own family of origin and left Spain to provide Maria with better opportunities here in the USA.
Maria put her own life on hold so that her mother could live out her life with the dignity, respect and personal care that only a truly dedicated daughter could provide.
To fulfill her mother's final request, Maria must now take care of final arrangements and bring her mother's cremains to Spain by May. Remaining funds requested will be used to pay off the looming debt Maria has incurred during these past 2 years, so that she does not lose her house and vehicle.
