Film “Trake”

Dear friends,

After five years of research, writing, conversations with survivors, and constant budget struggles ,we are finally starting the production of the film “Trake”.

These “Trake”are not just part of a film title or equipment. They are a symbol. A symbol of silence, humiliation, and truth carried by us for more than 30 years.

“Trake” is the first hybrid feature-documentary film about everything that happened in Prijedor in 1992: the concentration camps Omarska, Keraterm, and Trnopolje, the white armbands, the murdered children, and the neighbors who became executioners overnight.

This is not just another war film.

This is a story about people ,about those who survived, those who were never found, and those of us still searching for the words to describe what happened.

The film is directed by Dino Mustafić and written by Zlatko Topčić,two of the region’s most respected artists, both deeply committed to truth and historical responsibility.

We are not making this film to impress the world with effects.

We’re making it to tell the truth ,with honesty, dignity, and deep respect for every victim.

We don’t have a big budget.

We only have our faith that these stories must be told.

Nakon pet godina istraživanja, pisanja, razgovora sa svjedocima i borbe s budžetom konačno krećemo sa snimanjem filma “Trake”.

Ove “Trake” nisu samo dio filmske opreme. One su simbol. Simbol tišine, poniženja i istine koju nosimo više od 30 godina.

Film “Trake” je prvi igrano-dokumentarni film o svemu što se dogodilo u Prijedoru 1992. godine o logorima Omarska, Keraterm i Trnopolje, o bijelim trakama, o ubijenoj djeci, i o komšijama koji su se preko noći pretvorili u dželate.

Ovo nije samo još jedan film o ratu. Ovo je priča o ljudima o onima koji su preživjeli, o onima koji nikada nisu pronađeni, i o nama koji i danas pokušavamo pronaći riječi za ono što se tada desilo.

Režiju potpisuje Dino Mustafić, a scenarij Zlatko Topčić ,vrhunski umjetnici sa snažnim osjećajem odgovornosti prema istini i historiji.

Ovaj film ne pravimo da bismo zadivili svijet efektima. Pravimo ga da bismo svijetu rekli istinu iskreno, dostojanstveno i s poštovanjem prema svima koji su stradali.

Bez velikog budžeta. . Samo s vjerom da naše priče moraju biti ispričane.

Ali da bismo to uspjeli trebamo vas.
