Hi everyone, my name is Nikolaj Alexander Lund. I am a 28 year old Lacrosse player trying to fulfill his only childhood dream of representing the country of Denmark at the 2018 World Lacrosse Championships in Netanya Israel.
For those who know me personally (Family, Friends, Colleagues, old coaches etc) Im sure you are well aware of my passion and love for the sport of Lacrosse. I have been playing this sport since I was 13 years old and for me it has become the biggest influence on who I have become today. Now after 14 (almost 15) years of playing, training, and coaching I have almost reached my only childhood goal of getting the to play lacrosse for Denmark!
It has not been easy to get to this point! After my second knee injury my senior year of college I took a very long look at myself and wondered if I ever wanted to play competitive lacrosse again. Luckily after a couple years away from the sport, I heard Denmark was trying to put together a team to compete in the European Championships and decided I couldn't hang up the cleats just yet.
The end of this month (Feb)signals the 2 year anniversary of my knee surgery, and journey back into competitive lacrosse. I was fortunate enough to heal quickly, and get back out on the field with the 503 Trees this past season (thank you Josh Schane and the the Trees). And Now Im here in Copenhagen, trying to play, train, study, work and Live!
BUT I NEED YOUR HELP!
The cost to travel to the world games is very expensive for our team. Denmark is not yet a power house in the world lacrosse community. This means the players and teams are self funded in order to attend the games this summer. Unfortunately being on a student/ part time salary is probably not going to raise enough of the funds needed in time. This is obviously where you come in and donate some money to the washed up 28 year old lacrosse player, but I'm gonna try and make it a little more fun.

200$ + Personalized thank you letter after the games, with headshot and action photo. As well as a short thank you video on FB!
