We Will Win Against Cervical Cancer

Hello! On June 18, 2015 I lost my soulmate, the absolute LOVE of my life to a massive heart attack very unexpectedly...at that time our youngest daughter was only 10 yrs old. This turned our world upside down/inside out! We have managed to keep going through Faith, Family support & loving friends helping! February, 2018 I found out I have squamous carcinoma cervical cancer!!! I had been getting sicker and sicker, hardly able to even work & finally after ER visits and Dr visits ( had NO insurance at the time- Thanks to Bethesda Clinic, I got diagnosed. This news was very devastating not just to myself but my other children whom are all grown except my youngest which is now 13....her fear of losing her only other parent consuming & scary of course!! I thought they would be able to do a hysterectomy and that was that, it would be done and OVER so I’ve stayed very positive!! Well long story short, that’s NOT at all the case for me. My cancer is too far gone for that and has spread into surrounding tissue... so we were told I would HAVE to start chemo & radiation therapy ASAP...and yesterday, we just found out from a pet scan that they found a blockage in my right kidney, a tumor in left lung AND in some lymph nodes & possibly thyroid as well... WOW! Just when I was trying to do a lot of research, change my entire way of living/eating etc...and wrap my head around the horrible side affects that chemo and radiation can have, I find out this news!!! Devastated and SHOCKED doesn’t even begin to describe how I felt!!! I have ALOT OF Faith in God, in fact without knowing HIM and praying all day, everyday along with reading His word, having others pray with and for me I KNOW I would be truly lost right now....but even with my faith this is truly overwhelming SCAREY mainly because I do NOT want my children and 7 grandchildren to have to see me get very ill, to watch me suffer and become someone I’m not and I’m just NOT finished here on Earth yet!!! I truly believe God has given me a MISSION through this journey not only to get closer to HIM but to bring a new HUGE awareness to what Cervical Cancer is, what it CAN DO TO YOU, your sisters, your daughters, your mothers & grandmothers etc...we hear all about breast cancer all over the place and I’m very supportive of that don’t get me wrong but people aren’t comfortable hearing about cervical stuff among other things we are afraid to “SAY OUT LOUD” like vagina.... but this is a debilitating disease that’s stealing lives everyday!!! Early detection and prevention is the KEY TO PROTECTING yourselves and your lovely women/girls in your life!!!! The reason for this go fund me account is I’m a single widow with this beautiful 13 yr old still at home and we NEED HELP!!!! I am NOT one to ever ask for charity or pity by NO MEANS! I’ve ALWAYS found a way with the help of almighty GOD to provide for her & pay our bills along with putting food on the table, clothes on her back and just daily living expenses...now we also have expenses that go along with going to treatments 5 days a week which is going to be extremely costly not to mention the high cost of eating the healthy foods I’ve GOT to eat to fight this disease growing all inside me.... and I haven’t been physically able to work at all the past few weeks... not much since late December.... God has provided and I’m SO THANKFUL for all that have reached out and helped us!!!! I do believe God puts wonderful people in our lives to help us along the way during hard times like these and we are GOING to BATTLE against CERVICAL CANCER!!!! Please, PLEASE HELP US WIN this fight in a mighty way by PRAYING, donating, giving any helpful advice for healthy non invasive cures etc.... I’m open to any/all advice I can get so feel free to PM me if you know of special cancer fighting diets, supplements etc.... I want to grow old watching my babies, grand babies & one day great grands growing up!!!! I want to help others in a mighty way that are battling this disease!!! My profession is home healthcare and I LOVE HELPING OTHERS & their families in their time of need but right now I NEED THE HELP & my family NEEDS the prayer and support of others!
