Help Jackie fight her cancer!

Donation protected
My name is Douglas and I am starting this fund for my mother Jackie who was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer earlier this summer.  She's a beautiful and selfless woman. I have been told throughout my entire life that everything happens for a reason and God has a plan for everybody. I'm not sure what he's planning here, but I hope he keeps her safe.
She had to have surgery to have the cancer removed, along with multiple lymph nodes, and a large portion of her liver. They were lucky enough to be able to reconstruct her colon  and therefore removing the need of a colostomy bag. The surgeon was able to remove all of the visible cancer, but she was told she would have to undergo harsh chemotherapy treatments for 6-12 months. She started her treatments in September. Needless to say, it was one of the worst experiences she had to go through and it was only the first treatment. Not only was it stressful for her, but it's stressful for me knowing that I can't stay with her for the duration of her chemotherapy. I see what kind of toll it's playing on her and it pains me to have to see her endure this much pain.
Luckily I was able to make it home for her first treatment. You see, I'm in the Army and I am currently stationed overseas in Germany. I have put in a Compassionate Reassignment Request to get stationed back in Arizona to be closer to my mother so that my wife and I can physically help her along this journey. And I have my fingers crossed everyday that it gets approved. My parents are divorced and the only other family my mother has living anywhere near her is my sister. And while it's hard for my sister and her husband to find time to help with my mother physically. They, like myself, are unable to help my mother financially. Especially since  they just had another baby as of a week ago.
So the main reason I am starting this fund is because my mother has no income coming in. She is not receiving any type of disability, unemployment, or anything of that sort. And so long as she is out of work during the stint of her chemo, she has no way of paying rent, utilities, gas, food, etc. Except of course the financial help that we as a family are trying to give her. And a small donation from some of the teachers she was working with. I am a proud man and I hate asking for favors and charity. This woman has been my biggest supporter my entire life and I need to somehow support her or at least find some support for her. Any amount of money donated is appreciated whether it is $1 or $100. I see miracles happen all the time. Please help us help my mother and be part of her miracle .
