Christian Moore is the son George and Kari Moore. His parents often referred to him as their Cuban baby, because he was born shortly after they returned back from their military deployment. They moved to Peabody Kansas, Kari’s hometown to raise him and his siblings.

Christian is a 15 year old fun loving, smart young man, who loves baseball and Dallas cowboys. He enjoys the outdoors, fishing and camping and spending time with his family. On June 23rd he started helping his Aunt and Uncle remodel a house, who just moved home after 22 years of military service. Christian was excited and wanted to help build their home. He is a strong helper and worker who just wanted to hang out with his Uncle and be helping. He is always helping his family. On Thursday June 27th, during a break from demolition he jumped on an ATV to drive 4 blocks to grab sodas for everyone. On his way back to the house the soda fell off the back of the ATV. Christian turned his head to look and turn around. When he did he was thrown from the ATV and suffered a severe head injury, and  left Christian fighting for his life. Christian is beating the odds with his family standing beside him.

Christian has a long road ahead to full recovery. He will be going to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln Nebraska for a personalized plan of therapy. His family is thankful for the support, prayers and food donations they have received to get them through this tragedy. His recovery being a long journey and away from home has brought obstacles to overcome. Christians 2 sisters will be staying with their grandparents in Peabody Kansas during this time so they can continue school with friends for support. Kari, his mother has lost her income, cutting the household income in half. The extended families are budgeting the household incomes to help support and help pay any of their regular bills they can due to her loss of income. These travel expenses and food expenses are going to take a toll.

The family asks for continued prayers and any donations to ease the financial strain during this time. Please continue to pray for our little buddy as he fights to heal.

Thank you so much from all of Christian’s Family.
