Fighting her own fight.

My good friend and co-worker Christine.....was diagnosed with rectal cancer less than a year ago. After a period of time of being in remission (was told that she was cancer free in November)  some things have come up that may indicate a reoccurrence of her Cancer.  No evidence on the scans indicated any Cancer in November.  Now Christine's cancer markers are elevated and the most recent scan showed a large mass which Doctors believe is positive for reoccurring Cancer.  Currently, Christine is going through more testing and I will update you accordingly. Now,  keeping a positive outlook is our goal for Christine.  but when someone says to "think positive" or "be optimistic" during a time such as cancer, it can be much easier said than done. We know that cancer isn't all rainbow and butterflies and once you enter a dark mindset, it can be hard to get out of it.  I am asking that everyone keep Christine in your prayers and help her stay positive in this next journey. 
So,  as we all know....this new change in Christine's health has shaken her whole world. She’s a young, hard working Nurse that has chosen to spend her life taking care of others in their greatest time of need. Now Christine is at a point in her life where she will have to take time off from work and try to overcome this life altering event. Even though She has health insurance, she still has to cover deductables for tests,  procedures, surgeries and recuperating time ....all while away from work and not bringing in any income.  It is believed that Christine will miss a great deal of work and a regular pay check.  I am starting this page with the hopes that anyone (friends, family) can help Christine to have one less thing to worry about....to only have to focus on getting well and fighting her own fight ONCE AGAIN.  Any donations big or small would be greatly appreciated.
