Christie Cowan, daughter, sister (my oldest one) mother, aunt, grandmother, friend...has been battling breast cancer that has spread to her brain...she was to start radiation to put her in remission TOMORROW at MD Anderson. Received call TONIGHT at 5 PM telling her that due to insurance she needed $45,000 to start her treatment tomorrow!! Her insurance has known for weeks she was seeking treatment there. She has to have money by NOON tomorrow!! Her team of doctors had to go to the board to get treatments moved up due to increased confusion from the tumors causing pressure on her brain.
