Fighting COVID-19 in Northwest Ethiopia

በሰሜን ምዕራብ ኢትዮጵያ የኮቪድ-19 ሥርጭት እየገፋ ነው፡፡ በአካባቢው ህሙማኑን ለመርዳት የሚታገሉት የጤና ባለሙያተኞች በቂ የሆነ ሙሉ መከላከያ የላቸውም፡፡ በመጋለጥ ምክንያት ከሥራ ቦታቸው የሚገለሉት የባለሙያተኞች ቁጥር ብዙ ነው፡፡ በዚህ ከቀጠለ ጤና ባለሙያተኞቹና በኮቪድ የታመሙት ሆነ በሌላ ምክንያት ህክምና ማግኘት የሚገባቸው ሰዎች አደጋ ላይ ይወድቃሉ፡፡ የጤና ባለሙያተኞቹን መርዳት አማራጭ የሌለው መንገድ ነው፡፡ በዚህ ልገሣ አስፈላጊው መከላከያ ተገዝቶ በቀጥታ እንዲደርሳቸው ለማድረግ ነው፡፡ አባክዎ የተቻለዎትን ይርዱ፡፡

የዚህ ገንዘብ ርዳታ የሚሰበሰበው በአሜሪካ በህግ ዕውቀና ያለው (Non-Profit) 501-C ማህበር በኩል ነው፡፡ ስሙ ፋሲለደስ መረዳጃ ማህበር ይባላል፡፡ ይህ ማህበር ከዚህ ቀደም የፋሲለደስ ት/ቤት ለማሠራት ከተቋቋመው ቡድን ጋር በመተባበር፣ የተዋጣውን ገንዘብ ወደ ጎንደር በመላክ የት/ቤቱ ሥራ እንዲጀመር ያደረገ ነው፡፡ አሁንም፣ አሰቸኳይ ለሆነው ለዚህ ለጤና ባለሙያተኞች ርዳታ፣ የገንዘብ ማሰባሰቢያ ማዕከል ሆኖ እየረዳ በመሆኑ የዚህ ርዳታ አስተባባሪዎች ከፍተኛ ምሥጋና ያቀርባሉ፡፡ ስማቸው ከሥር የተጠቀሱት፣ አባ ግርሻ ካሰኝና መሀመድ ኢድሪስ የፋሲለደስ መረዳጃ ማህበር ተወካዮች ሆነው፣ ለጎፈንድሚ መዋጮ በማህበሩ በኩል እንዲተላለፍ ትብብር እያደረጉ ነው፡፡

The health care worker in Gondar Hospital are in dire situation and need urgent assistance in getting N95 masks and other protective materials.  Because of exposure to COVID-19 patients, a large number of the work force gets quarantined. Without the adequate protection, they are at risk of getting infected. If the health care workers are out of work, all the population which gets health care will be affected largely.  This will affect other non COVID-19 patients who depend on the care delivered by the health care workers. Your help in this has a far reaching benefit.
