Fight for the veterans!
Donation protected
I am currently attempting to raise money for Combat Stress . I wish to commit to completing the weighed category of the Fan Dance run in Breacon Beacons to support this cause. This charity helps UK veterans recieve help and treatment for conditions such as anxiety, depression and PTSD. Donations will go to providing free support to any UK veterans as well as funding research.
Combat Stress is an excelent charity which supports a good cause and has a clear ethos. This fundraiser will benefit any current or ex British servicemen and servicewomen.
The Fan Dance event will take place on the weekend of the 7th of January in Breacon Beacons, near the Storey Arms center. I have contacted Combat Stress and am working directly with them to support this cause.
I personally believe that no person who has served their country should have to face the horrifying consequences of war alone. On average, about a third of soldiers returning from conflict will suffer from around 3 mental disorders. Conflict is something that these brave men and women will have to live with for the rest of their lives. Regardless of political views, soldiers put themselves at risk to protect and serve the people they love and their country. We have an obligation to support them in their time of need. We must show them that they are not alone.
