#FightForTara- Conquering Leukemia
Donation protected
Dear family and friends,
We are looking for your support for our daughter/sister/niece/cousin Tara Harvey.
After having chest pain July 26, 2017 several tests were done at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center including a bone marrow biopsy. She was later diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia FLT-3 positive gene mutation. Doctors immediately began chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant was needed next.
On October 25, 2017 she received the call that her sister Kema was a 100% match. The process began at the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fl (6.5 hours away) from where she lives.
We thank God for the successful transplant on December 15, 2017
and she will remain under the doctor care in Tampa until March 22, 2018. After which she has to continue to drive back to Tampa every 3 months for continual care.
We’re asking that you continue to pray for Tara and if you can give any financial support we appreciate that as well. Tara and Chris have not been able to work since July 26, 2017 and their medical and living expenses are overwhelming.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read Tara's journey and we thank you in advance for your financial support.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Harvey, Thomas, Brown and Simpson family!
