Meet Wyatt, the newest addition to the Sargent family. Wyatt was born on November 14, 2017 with a very rare (1:10,000,000) malignant Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor on his spine from C3-C6.
At only four weeks old, Wyatt had surgery out of state to remove this devastating tumor from his spine. Wyatt still has a very long and uncertain road ahead that includes extremely aggressive chemotherapy and lengthy inpatient stays at the local children's hospital. But, Wyatt has impressed the medical staff with his resilience earning the nickname Super Wy.
Wyatt's parents are no strangers to difficult situations. His mom, Ashley, is a police officer and his dad, Alex, is an EMT and Army Veteran. Both Ashley and Alex are accustomed to helping others when they are in need. Even Wyatt's big brother, Stephen, has been very brave staying by his little brother's side.
But now, Ashley, Alex, Stephen, and Wyatt need your help. They are facing major medical expenses, extended leaves from work, and unexpected transportation costs.
