Fight Like a Girl - Team Amy!

Hello Team Amy!

As most of you know, Amy Yoney Pyle was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.   This started in May with an abnormal Mammogram and unfortunately a biopsy on June 19th showed that she had breast cancer.  She underwent 2 surgeries on July 20th and August 3rd for Lumpectomy.   Unfortunately due to the MammaPrint results (high risk for recurrence) they  have recommended Chemotherapy for 3 months at which time they will determine if she will need a mastectomy or radiation.

As we all can imagine, traveling back and forth to Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles for her chemotherapy is going to become a burden on their family.  Anything you can do to help with that part would be so appreciated!  The money earned from this account will help with travel expenses (hotels, food, gas etc) as well as helping get her sisters, mom and other important Team Amy members that can be with her during her appointments.

If you are reading this, know that you are already part of Team Amy!  Both Amy and Jeff and her family really did not want to do this GoFundMe, but they agreed that any money raised will help tremendously in the upcoming months.   Many of us would like Amy to take some medical leave, but for now she is very concerned about taking time off due to the expenses around her treatment.  Maybe we can lighten that load for her!
