Fight For Rachel

My name is Chandler Stockstill, my brother, Koalbey, and I are raising money for our mom, Rachel, who has been diagnosed with Terminal Triple Negative Breast Cancer with Brain Metastases. A few years ago my mom was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer and within 11 months she survived the cancer with extreme success. Now it is back and back with a vengeance. The Triple Negative Breast cancer came back but it traveled and metastasized in her brain forming a tumor. This type of cancer is deadly and terminal, meaning it will remain inside of her for the rest of her life. However, they are able to keep it at bay with a new type of treatment that she will go in for every 90 days for the rest of her life.

The sole cause of this fundraiser is to help her financially. She has been put on non-paid medical leave from teaching for 3 months, possibly more. She is struggling financially due to this, and we hope to help her as much as we can. The goal is reflective of just how much she will need to stay on top of her bills and insurance for the next three months. Being diagnosed with this type of cancer and being put on non-paid medical leave can really stress someone out, which we have been told will make her cancer worse. We hope to alleviate this stress for her and allow her to fight this with the least amount of stress possible.

She has touched many people in her life and career. She has changed many lives by being who she is and we don’t want her to lose that part of her. Please spread this around to anyone who may be able to help, a little help really can go a long way.
