Fight for Miguel

As many of you have now learned, my step dad is currently going through the fight of his life.
For the last 3 weeks, Miguel had been very sick and under the impression that had a severe case of the flu or pneumonia. He had taken an entire round of antibiotics and he just kept getting worse.
On January 14th, my mom and I brought my step dad to the ER with hopes that they would just give him some stronger medicine to get it kicked out of him, but our whole worlds were quickly shaken.
After his flu tests coming back negative, the doctors decided to do some blood work. Some of Miguel's blood work didn't come back the way they wanted it to - so they took him for some more tests, X-rays and a CT.
After a long 6 hours - the doctors came back and we knew from the look on their faces that we weren't gonna get to just go home with some medicine - but we had no idea what we were really in for.
The doctors showed us and explained to us Miguel's scans and he has a football sized solid mass taking up 3/4 of his chest cavity.
One of Miguels lungs had already collapsed, and his heart is taking on a tremendous amount of pressure and blockage.
He also had fluids all around in his chest cavity that were starting to get to his good lung.
Miguel has a wife, a daughter and two step children. He works long hours and never complains about a thing. He has always done anything and everything to be the best man/father/husband that he can be. He doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink, hes always been in great health.
Miguel has always been the sole provider for our family as my mom has always worked part time.
Due to being sick, he has been out of work for 3 weeks and now a long time to come.
The last thing that I want my mom to worry about is finances.. between the bills, medical expenses and feeding her children - I know it's a lot on her.
If you can help in any way, we would appreciate it beyond words. Even if you could just send up a prayer or two.
