Fighting for their lives.
As long as Ebola is in Liberia, the More Than Me girls and other vulnerable children are at risk. More Than Me is fighting with everything in them to end this epidemic that terrorizes their children and their communities.
The Ebola Epidemic in Liberia, West Africa has left many children without parents. Katie Meyler and More Than Me will be expanding their mission to include Ebola orphans as a part of their goal to educate the most vulnerable girls from the slums of West Point. More Than Me plans on building a boarding school to house children who lack a safe home to go to. "We will use the school to help rebuild the education system so an outbreak like this won't be possible again at this magnitude."- Katie Meyler
We want to show our support for Katie and the girls as we speak to people all across the country in hopes that they join us in bringing Katie's efforts to the forefront within their own community.
Support Katie and the More Than Me team in their efforts to stop the spread of Ebola in Monrovia. Let's provide a safe house for Ebola orphans, and get their girls back to school by reaching our goal of $50,000.
Learn more about the Community Based Ebola-Free Coalition they 've formed and their plans to turn their guest house into HOPE21 (Housing Observation and Pediatric Evaluation for 21 days). They've identified the needs on the ground and are working quickly to fill the gaps.
