Police Officer Needs Help
Donation protected
Alcoa Police Officer, Johnny Meyers, was recently diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma, a cancer that affects white blood cells (lymphocytes). While common among individuals 60+ years of age, it is very uncommon in individuals in their 20's.
Officer Meyers will undergo chemo treatments for the next few months in hopes of returning to his patrol duties thereafter. Unfortunately, because there is no cure for this type of cancer Officer Meyers may have to receive more chemo treatments in the future.
As you can imagine medical treatments received during this time can become very costly, therefore, we are asking for donations to help ease the financial burden not covered by insurance. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
