Fight Fergus Fight

As many of you know last week Fergus was diagnosed with Potomac fever after we raced him out the Oregon State University with a 104 temperature. Potomac fever is very rare in Oregon. After being on Fluids , Lidocaine , antibiotics and ice boots Fergus started to get much better . He was over the Potomac fever and was pulled off of supportive care but still under 24 hour surveillance. 2 days later his health took a huge step backwards and he is back on all of the supportive care . The doctors think when he got colitis from the Potomac fever it did massive damage to his colon . He has been given a 50/50 prognosis of survival and we are literally trying to buy him time with all of the supportive care ( hovering around $1,000 a day ) to see if he can recover . Fergus is the heart of our farm and loved around the world . Fight for those that love you Fergus .
