Fight against cancer with Elizabeth May

Cancer. A word that has enough power to break a heart in a moments notice. A word that not only affects the one hearing it, but also the hearts of all the love ones who will stand by through every step of the way. This is, best put, f***ing scary.

Elizabeth May is many, many wonderful things. She has a laugh that will literally make you laugh so hard you cry, a heart that gives every chance she can and a soul that is as pure as them come. Elizabeth is one of the most giving & kind hearted people I have ever met. She is the friend, mother and daughter you can only pray to get. Simply put, she’s a damn good person.

The doctors found a large tumor on July 24th in her colon and confirmed a few days later that the tumor is cancer. Being that she is only 29, this was a shock to us all. She has surgery scheduled and will be out of work for some time. She is a single mother and her flight attendant income is the only income for the household. Along with cost of surgery, she also has big bills coming in every month. We do not know the stage of her cancer and will find out after the surgery what the next steps will be.
