I am going to need some help!
Do you know how hard that is to say? I hope none of you ever has to say that they need help.
I’ve heard of gofundme but never really thought much about it. Now I want to use it to help me and Debbi get back to Colorado. Let me explain why and what we need.
I’ve never been a lazy person, always worked hard and tried to help others when they needed it.
Debbi and I had good jobs at a storage facility here in Phoenix. Even our residence was provided by our employers. But in the first part of 2015, my kidneys quit on me. I became very sick and could not work anymore. I did get on disability but for those who have it, they know that is not enough to live on. Unable to work at the storage place, we were forced to look for other accommodations and Debbi to find work. Barely getting by we kept our nose to the grind stone. That is not the life more abundantly that I read about in my bible. We decided last year that we needed to come home, to Colorado. Loveland to be specific. We are super excited but the realization of the facts are fast becoming a reality where we don’t have the money enough to move. We have a moving truck rented for next Thursday the 22nd of June. That is $700 and that is just the start. Gas for truck and our vehicle and motel at the half way point. Food and essentials for 2 days as well. We have rent paid for July and they are going to work with us on the deposit. Then there is the basic living expenses for 2 or 4 weeks until Debbi finds work again.
I am asking that we raise $1,7000.00 but know that it will probably take more than that.
You can see why I am in such a dilemma. Knowing that we have to move and not being able to afford to do so. I feel like a failure, like I have let my wife and kids down.
God is so good and I say again, He is faithful. He has always provided! Everytime. I am believing that he will again.
I am knowing that with the help of friends and acquaintances that Debbi and I have made over the years, this problem will solve itself.
Won’t you help get me home to Colorado.
