Show Raul We Care!

Officer Raul Ornelas, my good friend and co-worker, was robbed on 9/11/14 while he was doing his job serving and protecting the students and staff at Wood River High School and Silver Creek High School.
Some losers (I could think of other words) broke into his home and took items that he needs for police work, as well as guns, chain saws, jewelry and other things. His insurance is only covering a fraction of the replacement cost. So far, there are a few leads in apprehending the criminals.
Raul is also an EMT because he likes to help people. Raul is the kindest, most generous and good-hearted person I know. I have known him since he was in high school. He always goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Raul is also my neighbor. He helps me in so many ways with no thought of being paid. That's why I want to start this fund to help him recover somewhat from his losses. I know I am not the only neighbor he looks out for.
Raul has an amazing attitude, saying, "It's only things. I still have what is important, my family and friends". But I would like to show him that people appreciate him as much as he cares for all of us. Please donate what you can to help him replace some of his stuff.
(This is a picture of Raul holding my granddaughter at a wedding, She adores him too; he's a kid magnet.)
