On May 9th Fernando Moya was admitted to the ER due to vomiting, nausea, confusion and headache. He was fatigued, had loss of appetite and was very confused.
After twenty minutes in the ER the staff did a CT scan of the brain and four hours later he was sent by ambulance to Methodist Hospital in Houston on Fannin.
He had surgery for a Craniotomy three days later. Fernando was admitted to the Neurological ICU at the Walter Tower #1136. He had a malignant mass removed from his brain.
His prognosis is very serious, Glioblastoma Grade IV.
He is 54 and going to require Chemo/Radiation therapy ASAP.
His medical expenses are very high and we need financial help from the community.
Fernando worked for Briargrove Texaco(Voss Road Exxon) for many many years. His smile is infectious and everybody loved him. He is married and lives in Beaumont.
