This money will be used for travel expenses and daily food requirements for the family that is traveling. Dustin Ferguson was in an accident that caused a serious traumatic brain injury on Thursday night. He is currently in a coma in Wichita Kansas ICU. With the family residing in Cheyenne Wyoming travel will be extensive and costly. The money will go to help transport family members to and from Cheyenne Wyoming and Wichita Kansas. Stepfather JD Land, military member of the Wyoming Air National Guard will be transporting the Land's three daughters back and forth from Cheyenne to Wichita. Lisa, Dustin's mother will be spending most of her time down in Wichita with Dustin, Lisa is currently holds a part-time job and does not receive reimbursement for leave time from that job. Daily bills will not be a foreseeable factor but transportation will be financially heavy on Lands due to distance between family and Dustin down in Wichita. Dustin Ferguson just completed his first semester at McPherson college in McPherson Kansas. Dustin also plays for the McPherson baseball team and just recently joined the Kansas Air national Guard to help with his tuition while attending McPherson college. Dustin is chasing his dream of being a baseball player, which he does to the best of his abilities and is quite talented. He is also chasing another dream of being in law enforcement in some capacity. His military career just started, this will be a long and trying time for the Land family and for Dustin to overcome any foreseeable hardships this TBI might cause Dustin. We are all praying and through our Lord, Dustin will make a recovery and we pray that it will be a full physical and mental recovery so he can continue his dream of playing baseball, working for United States military and doing wonderful things in our justice system.
