Fenet's Brain Tumor Surgery Fund

Fenet Mesert Mulatu, born June 20, 2015 in Addis Ababa Ethiopia, was a happy, vibrant, and healthy child. She played, giggled, laughed, fed, walked normally until her parents began to notice that she was having trouble sitting and walking independently. She was then taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Although doctors were able to drain and remove excess fluid from the brain, they were unable to remove the tumor due to excessive growth of the tumor as well as lack of adequate medical care and infrastructure. Doctors have advised to immediately seek surgery treatment in Bangkok, Thailand as they are only able to provide pain management treatment. She is currently at Black Lion Hospital in Addis Ababa but is advised to go home soon as they are unable to assist further. 

The cost of brain tumor surgery is approximately $20,000 USD in Bangkok.  Her family asks for your help and generosity during this time of need. They are absolutely devastated as you can imagine, that their beautiful little once perfectly healthy girl is going through a really painful and difficult time and they are unable to do anything about it.
