Fence needed for rescue animals after flood

We are a non-profit animal sanctuary that provides a permanent home for unadoptable animals. We promote responsible pet ownership and compassion for all animals.

On New Years’ Eve, our (typically) 6 inch creek flooded to 24 feet and left the sanctuary under water. The flood dumped over 3 feet of sand on the area, leaving the yard completely covered with a new unstable hillside. The 120 feet of fence that had formed a border with the creek until a few days ago was knocked down in one place, and is 3/4 buried along the rest of the length. After having a few landscapers and contractors out to look at the situation, we have been told that the fence not only needs to be completely replaced, but in order to build a new fence we first need to build a retaining wall to help stabilize the land.
