We have been saddened with grave news that our Sauté Chef Felix Hernandez-Juarez has been struck with Esophageal Cancer. While he is upbeat about his treatment, the daily struggle just to swallow is heart breaking.
Over the past few months Felix has been loosing a lot of weight, and we all began to be concerned. If anyone works in a restaurant, it becomes your second family. Felix is family to all of us and the news to hear that he has cancer has stuck us all to the core.
Knowing his 2 children will watch Felix struggle in the fight of his life, weighs heavy on all of us, his friends, family and co-workers.
