Civitans Feeding the Hungry in Central NC

Can you imagine being sick, unable to work, and  no food in your pantry?

The North Raleigh Civitan Club is raising money to benefit the food pantry at The Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina  (The Alliance) and any size donation you give will make an impact.

The Alliance provides food to feed an average of 170 households per month in Wake, Durham,  Johnston, Franklin, and Orange Counties.

Because The Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina is a 501(c) non-profit agency that helps feed the hungry in the communities it serves, it qualifies to purchase food by the pound directly from the Food Bank of North Carolina and at a discounted rate from the Interfaith Food Network, meaning YOUR DOLLAR WILL GO ESPECIALLY FAR.

Unbelievably, a donation of $5.00 will provide 25 meals for a sick individual. 
A gift of $25 will feed a family of 5 for over a  week!

Every bit of your donation -100% - goes directly to help feed people who desperately need your help.  During the pandemic, members of this community are particularly vulnerable and have a harder time than ever making ends meet.  Won't you help us help them?!

The Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina has operated its food pantry for over a decade, providing pantry services to anyone affected by HIV and/or of low income. Due to the ever-growing need for pantry services, The Alliance completed a large renovation in 2016 and is now set up to resemble a grocery store with shopping carts and a variety of choices including dry goods, bread, milk, eggs, meats, and personal hygiene products. 

The Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina is dedicated to serving the community by providing the highest quality nonjudgmental care. The Alliance provides testing, food pantry aid, and CLEAR program, as well as various support groups. The Alliance believes that treating people with dignity and love is the best medicine.
