DESPERATE NEED TO FEED ORPHAN STARVING CHILDREN

1 John 3:17

"If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?"

My name is Mwesigwa Brian Silvester 26 years of age, from mafubira village/Uganda where I am the pastor at East Gate church. For my life, I have lived as an orphan. My parents died while I was seven years old and I never had chance to see my dad. I grew up as a church boy and could sleep in the church until I turned 14 years old. Being an orphan is so hurting and you never experience parental love. These children have a lot of needs but no one is bothered as no one will ever love you like your parents. Seeing them smile is all I yearn for and it means the world to me. They are my family and my happiness.

I am sacrificing my life to save the lives of children in my community in Uganda, East Africa. Life has been difficult since I began caring for homeless children in 2014 because I myself was an orphan. I am now 26-years-old and caring for 52 children that I HAVE found in my community. The only way we could receive food for the children was to reach out through the internet, praying and hoping someone would have a generous heart to help with funds (any amount, every little bit helps) to save these children from starvation.

Uganda…is a beautiful country. Winston Churchill named it “The Pearl of Africa”. But, the people are more poor than you can imagine. Many, many children are left to fend for themselves because their parents died of HIV/AID'S or Past Wars or abandoned them. But, God has intervened through missionaries over the years and so there are churches and disciples of Christ who minister to the children.

Life can be so uncertain... we are in dire need! Our lives, our future and safety are at stake!

And so… I am here calling out to my friends, family, and anyone with a heart full of compassion; to partner with me in this campaign to help these 52 orphaned and abandoned children.

Begging? If you want to call it that, then yes! And on my knees...because I am so bothered that these kids are hungry and starving though they have a lot of needs currently. We've all been in a situation similar at some point in our lives. As we look back, we can remember that God made a way out...and usually through a person with a kind heart. Now, it is our turn to give back.

So, if you've made it this far in your story, and you have that nagging tug at your own heart; then, family? friend? If God is calling you, please follow His lead and team up with us to help get food and other necessities for these amazing little Orphans children of the Almighty God.

We are currently in strict lockdown in our country and most services are suspended. The government put us back in Lockdown for 42 days unfortunately we are in desperate need of necessities like food , Soap, firewood, cooking oil, salt, sugar, sanitary products, sanitizers, and the like.
