Help Feed local NHS Community Nurses and Carers

Our local NHS Community nurses and caring staff are working flat out during the coronavirus epidemic and they barely have time to stop and eat. Most fast food and cafes are shut and these key workers cannot just  pop in store in uniform in between calls due to safety reasons. 

Last week I was able to obtain a small amount of funding from 2 friends and donations from 2 local supermarkets to arrange a meal to feed our local Fareham and Portchester Community Nursing team after they  put out a plea on Facebook .

On Good Friday I delivered 30 meals , having now met this team , all I can say is seeing Izzy MacRae and her colleagues as they all returned to the office for their lunch was probably the most humbling thing I have ever done . All so obviously tired and sore but still smiling , laughing and so overwhelmingly thankful to me with a card and flowers for doing something that I enjoy , in the safety of my own home and made me so happy to do ! 

I would really like to be able to continue to get fresh tasty lunches delivered to them and other teams locally , I know it will  make such difference to their wellbeing . 

I have set up this campaign to arrange for meals to be delivered for lunchtime , either prepared by me or coordinated by me from  local restaurants and cafes who also need support at this time

Initially the plan was for this group only but the plan now is to add more teams to the list if we raise enough money!

£2 feeds a one nurse everyday , no matter how small your donation will make a difference , please help me to feed our local hero’s ..
