Star, a service dog, needs surgery!

Star (Black AKC Labrador Retriever) is my service dog and best friend.
My name is Stevie Campbell. My friends call me Stevie C. I am an individual who is Deaf and has Usher's syndrome (some sight loss due to this). I am a long time supporter of animals and an Austin, Texas native.
Star has been with me since she was a puppy. She is 8 years old. I depend on Star as a hearing and sight guide dog and more than that-Star is my best friend.
I thought Star had an injured ACL (due to a limp) but after taking her to the specialist we found out she has osteosarcoma; bone cancer.
The vet feels that if they amputate her leg and give her chemo she can live at least another year comfortably before the cancer spreads. I want Star to be as comfortable as she can for as long as she can. That is my goal. Your donation will greatly help with this.
Right now she cannot walk up stairs, run, walk normally, etc. Star's pain is getting worse and she needs this surgery right away to live comfortably and to extend her life.
For years I have donated my time and money to dog and cat rescue organizations and this time my animal needs help. Your donation would help Star and would help me too! I appreciate your consideration.
