Valley Fire

My name is Ezekiel. I am in the 3rd grade. I live in San Diego CA. I love to help my community. On 9-5-2020 the valley fire broke out. It has burned 17,345 acres to date. It is only 11% contained and because of high  winds it keeps spreading.  The fire has already burned 11 homes and 25 buildings. The fire is just east of my hometown here in San Diego. I personally know families who had to evacuate and who have been displaced. It is affecting Alpine and Jamul the most. I want to help my neighbors who are displaced and have lost homes and businesses. I found a nonprofit online that does just that. I want to help 20 families in 2020 who have been affected by California fires. In order to do that we need to raise 5,000 dollars. Other fires have also devastated California this year and maybe we will raise enough money to help people outside of the city of San Diego. Below is the information on the Cal Fire nonprofit and all they do for the people in our state. Thank you for reading and donating. We all need each other in 2020.
