My Dad's Funeral Funds
Donation protected
Hi family and friends,
As you all know, my dad, John, was a fantastic individual. He touched the lives of so many people - whether he spoke to someone for five seconds or five hours, he always made them smile. He's honestly the closest thing we all had to our own personal Long Island celebrity.
As some of you may not know, he suddenly passed away yesterday, May 24th, of cardiac arrest while helping me move out of my house. It was truly traumatizing, but luckily my brother and I were there when it happened, so he was around the two people that loved him most in this world.
My dad deserves to be remembered appropriately, and everyone who was touched by him should have the opportunity to give their respects. He was such a social guy, he would have been so happy to see everyone come together.
We were given an estimate of $12,000 for the cost of the wake, the funeral, and the burial. We're still figuring out what funds our dad has left behind that we can use for the services, and we are incredibly overwhelmed by this process. No donation would be too small, even if we just raised $10 I would be truly grateful.
It's looking like the services will be either this Tuesday or this Wednesday. Any help by then would be amazing, and we would be forever grateful. If you'd like to come to the service, ask me for the information. As my dad would always say, be there or be square!
