To know Fay was to love her.
Fay left us tragically on January 31, 2019 and will be remembered as a selfless, loving and courageous woman. She loved unconditionally and inspired so many. Fay was the beloved wife of Nick and loving mother to Anthony and Matthew. Her boys were her pride and joy and her family her everything.
Fay was a passionate advocate for children with special needs and also for women in business. She leveraged her entrepreneurial ways to successfully build an Intimo business and mentored the many women following her lead. She brought endless energy to every endeavour, being a pillar of community support to many charitable initiatives. She mentored women in leadership, served on the parent board at Sydney Children’s Hospital, and most recently was the creator of “Women with Heart & Style” for the Heart Foundation. Fay touched all of us with the expression of her free spirit and her giving nature.
There has been an outpouring of love and support from so many following the news of Fay's passing. Many have asked how they can support the ongoing care for Fay and Nick's 14 year old son Matthew.
Matthew was Fay's everything. Every aspect of family life changed when Matthew was diagnosed with Angelman's syndrome, a complex genetic condition that means Matthew requires 24/7 special care. Fay dedicated her life to ensuring Matty's needs were met and worked tirelessly to make that happen.
To this end, friends of the family ask that we rally together and donate to support Matthew's ongoing care as the family deal with their devastating loss and rebuild their lives.
