Fatoumatta Hydara and her two murdered daughters

The Gambian Community in Nottinghamshire appreciates the empathetic response and show of solidarity from the public in response to the deliberate fire incident that killed three members of one family - mother, Fatoumatta Hydara (28) and daughters - Fatima (3) and Naeemah (1). Although the police charged a suspect with three counts of murder, the community is aware of the other demands this will have on the bereaved family. To that effect, we kindly request you donate generously as part of our community efforts to support the family.

I am a volunteer community organiser and Secretary to the Gambian Community in Nottighamshire. The bereaved family is a community member, and I am leading a community effort to support them. Per our community agreement, and with the bereaved family's consent, every penny raised from this fundraiser will be withdrawn through my personal bank account and presented to the bereaved family by community representatives.
