Father Rod's Heart

Jarrod Majkut is one of the hardest workers you'll ever meet. He is always putting himself before others and shares his love, kindness and humor wherever he goes. Jarrod recently became a new father, with his girlfriend Stephanie Eldred. His beautiful daughter Lennon is almost 4 months old. His love for his family, friends, the river and nature is infectious!! 

On September 14th, Jarrod is having life saving open heart  surgery; specifically mitral valve repair. If the surgeon is unable to repair the valve it will have to be replaced. Fortunately he has health insurance that will pay for most of total costs. Unfortunately He will be out of work for approximately 2 months. Along with time out of work there have already been many out of pocket medical bills leading up to his surgery. 

As many of you may know he is not a fan of asking for help. That is why we are reaching out to you on his behalf. Whether you know him from theatres in the valley, from working at Sunlight Mountain Ski Resort, from Whitewater Rafting LLC, from Colorado Mountain College, or simply bumped into him at the store any support will be greatly appreciated and surely repaid through his continued selflessness and kind-heartedness. He has done so much for all of us that we would love to return the favor.
