Faribault Gymnastics Shutdown Recovery Fundraiser

The Faribault Gymnastics club is a nonprofit organization that has been a part of the community for 35 years. The club offers gymnastics lessons to boys and girls of all ages. During a normal non-covid week, the gym welcomes 350-450 kids!
This spring the gym was forced to close under the Governors shutdown. We thought the shutdown would only last a couple weeks, however it ended up being almost 4 months. We were finally allowed to open back up in July. With capacity limits still being enforced we had to cap class sizes and accept less participants. On top of that, most gymnasts were enrolled off of credits from the spring when they registered, but we couldn't be open due to the shutdown.
This fall we were able to expand our class schedule but we still had to follow capacity limits. Even this fall the gym was still working off credits from March. The gym did have a fabulous Fall Fundraiser however, the funds raised will not cover even half of what was lost this spring.
The gym is now forced to close again. This time they say four weeks, but we are not confident that the shutdown will end on the scheduled date.
The gym still has a hefty mortgage payment, heat bill, etc due each month. And unfortunately the gyms large property tax payment is due as well. With no funds coming in from tuition and open gym it puts the gym in even more of a financial pinch.
We want to continue to offer classes for years to come but we need the communities help to get us through this. We understand we are not alone in the struggles so a donation consideration means a lot to us. We appreciate the communities support so much. We love our gymnastics families and we want to continue to offer classes and get through the pandemic and get things back to normal eventually.
