Farewell Tony and Netty

Tony (62) and Jeanette Cox (62) (husband and wife) tragically passed away in WA within 24 hours of each other after tough battles with cancer.  Due to the lengthy medical battle, the financial position of their family has been exhausted and there is not much left to give these two wonderful souls the farewell they deserve in their hometown of Manly, NSW. These beautiful souls would have given the shirt off their back to anyone in need, and therefore we would love to continue their legacy by fundraising for the ceremony we all know they are worthy of.

 Tony, attended Balgowlah Boys High and was a naturally gifted sportsman – excelling at rugby, cricket, surfing, tennis and especially water polo, winning a much coveted CHS title for the school. His outstanding rugby career started with Manly Colts in 1974 and the following season was elevated straight into first grade at only 18 years of age.  Not only was Tony talented, but he was also a wonderful father and role model to 3 daughters, 1 son and a loving grandfather to his granddaughter.

Jeanette, a talented pianist who lit up the room with her music was committed to passing on her knowledge and skills to the younger generation. She touched so many people with her kind, joyful and selfless, hilarious personality and would do anything for anyone. Netty was an incredible grandmother to little miss Maddi who she adored with all of her heart. Best one line quote was "how goods that", which is another example of the true positivity that shined from her soul. Netty never once gave up or complained about her situation during her short battle with cancer, and always saw the humour in every situation . She has truly left a footprint on our hearts.
